SLAYRAD LEFT/RIGHT SIDE SECURE RAIL (SOLD IN PAIRS)

Both side walls of your SLAYRAD™ insert, sold as a pair. Each bonds to a wall of your compartment with 3M™ VHB™ tape. 11-gauge (0.12 in) 304 stainless steel.

When you need them

• A side piece was damaged, or the studs were stripped.
• You're moving your insert and want fresh side pieces rather than re-bonding the old ones.

What's included

• One left side piece (lock side)
• One right side door attachment, with attachment studs and nuts

Not included

• The lock. If you need a new lock too, add a Lock Replacement Kit to your order.
• Wrench. You'll need a 3/8 in or crescent wrench.
• Alcohol prep pads. Add a pack of 4 if you don't have any left.

Fit

Fits the SLAYRAD™ Cluster Mailbox Insert only. The insert fits standard 4C wall-unit compartments and pedestal cluster boxes about 12 × 3 × 15 in (front-loading only).

Installing it

• Clean the wall with an alcohol pad (top, bottom, front to back) and let it dry for about a minute.
• Peel the tape backing. Slide the piece all the way to the back, then press it to the wall with about 20 lb of hand pressure and run your hand down its length.
• Set the door's hinge on the studs and snug the nuts with a 3/8 in or crescent wrench. Snug only, don't over-tighten. Wrench not included.
• The tape reaches about half strength in 20 minutes, 90% in 24 hours and full strength in 72 hours, so give it a day before heavy use.
